לילדים קטנים,

מיני חלב לילדים:

1. סימילאק
שנעשה מחלב עכו"ם, והכניסו בזה שומן של חזיר

2. חלב של
סויה שנכנס בזה חֵלֶב אִסּוּר כָּרֵת. ויש להרב הקלטות ודוקמנטים מכל זה.

With G-d's help we are pleased to commence this series
of shiurim on the important sefer, "Encyclopedia of Kashrut—Cholov Akkum
and Infant Formulas."

During the period from 5727 to 5737 (1967–77 C.E.) we
waged a great war mamash on the kashruth of milk fed to babies and infants. The
market made available two kinds of milk for use by young children:

1. Similac, which was prepared from
   chalav akum, with pig's milk as one of the ingredients;
2. Soya milk, the ingredients of
   which contained "chelev"—the eating of which is a Torah issur carrying
   with it the penalty of kares, cutting off from the Jewish nation. The
   Rav Shlit"a has under his possession tapes and documentaries
   substantiating these details. This evidence we plan to present to the public in
   future shiurim.

In the midst of this holy war for the
preservation of kashruth in the Jewish nation, the Rav Shlit"a prepared
five books on this vital matter. In keeping with the Rebbe Shlit"a's
publishing record, close to 100,000 of these sefarim were distributed free to
the religious public throughout the world, often via postal distribution. All
