B"H
Sometimes we thought that words rise and dissipate in the air.
Sometimes we even knew that in the heavens, they are illuminated with light.
But if we delve deeply, we will merit seeing the greatest hidden words in action.
A letter arrived at the home of the holy Admor of Holmin, shlita, which gave us enormous insight into the awesome power of holy words, and their phenomenal value. We will now share with you a true story:
On the night of the holy Shabbos, parshas Bereishit, of 24th Tishrei, 5775 – relates Ilan – I was praying in the Beis Midrash of the holy Admor of Holmin, shlita, following a lecture about the holy Zohar and reciting of Tikun 30, Tikun 43, Tikun 48, and P'tach Eliyahu (It is the custom in our beis midrash to read and study these texts several times over the course of Shabbos.)
The holy Admor spoke at length about the great significance of reciting verses from the holy Zohar, and in particular, Tikun 30, Tikkun 43, Tikkun 48, and P'tach Eliyahu.
He specifically emphasized the importance of educating our children from a young age to read Zohar, explaining that children who learn such lofty subjects cause great and hidden results to occur, which have an influence on the upper and lower worlds, and elevate and repair the Shechina.
Knowing their reward is very great, as the holy Admor always says. Before Rosh Hashana I had made it a custom in my home for the children read Tikun 43. (My daughter Ma'ayan already was learning it independently.) The very words recited by children reading the holy Zohar and the Tikkunim make a huge impression in Shamayim, and hasten the Redemption, מקרב את הגאולה
As it is written in the holy Zohar (parshat Vayera, page 118, 1): "The Holy One, blessed be He, does not desire that so much should be revealed to the world. But when the days of the Moshiach draw near, even children will discover the secrets of wisdom and thereby be able to make the calculations of redemption, and at that time he will reveal himself to everyone." And it is written in the book Segulat Yisrael (by the gaon and tzaddik rabbi Shabbtai Lifshitz – section 7, clause 5): "May it be that the holy flock would begin their study of the holy Book of Zohar when they are still small, nine and ten years old…and the redemption would certainly come without any Moshiach labor pains."
– And how much more so when it is learned by heart. Children are the generation who will welcome the Moshiach, and we must prepare the foundation. For it is known that in the days of the Moshiach everyone will speak and study in the language of the Holy Zohar, and that will be the main language among the People. And in any case it will be the children who will merit to welcome the Moshiach first, because they will speak that language.
בשפה זו הסוף של זה
בגמרא בבא בתרא
There is a well known saying that since the Temple was destroyed, prophecy has been taken from prophets and given to fools and children. The fact that children utter sections of the Zohar is a clear sign that the secrets of the Holy Zohar are passed down from the great sages of the generations all the way to the youngest of our children, fulfilling the verse, "For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea". As it is written, "Know the Lord, 'for they shall all know Me from their smallest to their greatest, says the Lord.'" The holy Admor explains that when children constantly utter aloud the language of the Zohar, they are purifying the air and sanctifying the world in preparation for our righteous Moshiach's arrival.
That is the reason for the extension of the Exile, because we are not prepared, and we do not yet deserve to be redeemed by Him. But from the time that even children are uttering the words of the Zohar, it is proof that we are ready to welcome Moshiach, that we have sanctified and purified ourselves, including even our children, in preparation for his arrival. And these children are the first harbinger of the widespread study of the Zohar in every country – and it all depends on the education we give them.
מחנכים אותם
At the end of his talk, the holy Admor promised generous rewards, in order to strengthen the foundation for the next generation of children learning Zohar. The Admor promised that each child who completed Idra Rabbah and Idra Zota on Shabbat would receive 10 shekels. Whoever read aloud P'tach Eliyahu seventy times would receive 26 shekels. Plus whoever read all the Tikunei Zohar over several Shabbatot would receive 101 shekels. Three shekels per hour was promised to whoever read Tikkun 43. Also every child who read Tikkun 43 on Hoshana Rabba and Simchat Torah and Shabbat Bereishit would receive ten shekels per hour. And anyone who knew by heart Tikkun 43 would receive another 101 shekels from the Rav.
At the same time he asked the parents themselves to also give 101 shekels to the children who learned Tikkun 43 by heart. Thus in their merit, the children would grow up to be Talmidei Chachamim, with good middos, and would become distinguished in their classes.
My oldest son Raziel Yosef, aged 13, was in the Beis Midrash listening to what the holy Admor said. He had heard the Admor say many times in the past that children also had to learn the Zohar and the Tikkunim, but that week he got especially excited. When he saw the Admor's grandson, who was only eight years old, recite by heart in entirety, Tikkun 30, Tikkun 43, and Tikkun 48, together with all of P'tach Eliyahu, my son Raziel Yosef arrived home full of enthusiasm to meet this scholarly challenge. He decided that no matter what, he also had to learn what the eight year old child had mastered.
In light of what the Admor shlita had said, as soon as I got home I told my sons and daughters alike that whoever followed the Admor shlita's instructions and read all the mentioned Tikkunim, learning them by heart, would receive from me 101 shekels. In addition, they would receive from the holy Admor shlita what he had promised.
My nine-year-old daughter Ma'ayan, who had seriously taken this project upon herself since Rosh Hashana, already knowing by heart half of the Tikkun, had not continued with her learning. In order to encourage her, I told her, "Look! B'ezrat Hashem you will receive money, so keep going." But it was hard for her to continue.
After the Shabbat meal, when the whole family went to take a rest, my son Raziel Yosef stayed awake to study Tikkun 43. Then Ma'ayan got motivated and joined him. They encouraged one another not to get tired, and to keep on trying. This way they both were able to complete learning the Tikkun, and tested one another on reciting Tikkun 43 by heart.
בעל פה
The next day, in the middle of the Shabbat day meal, my daughter Ma'ayan innocently told me about an interesting dream she had. This is what she said:
"In my dream the whole family was sitting at the table on Shabbat afternoon. My father, shlita, said Kiddush over the wine, and then we all washed our hands and made the blessing over the challot. Then suddenly we heard a loud noise, the sound of a Shofar from Shamayim. We looked out the window and saw the heavens opening, and the entire Beis Mikdash descending, totally surrounded by flames. I saw the Beis Mikdash at first as very small. Little by little it got closer, and got bigger and bigger. Finally, when it was very large, the heavens closed, and there was a great, bright light."
Since we live in a ground floor apartment, the whole family went out to the yard. From there I saw Moshiach wearing a long, plain white tallis, blowing in the wind [his head and faced were wrapped in a mantle]. He was riding on a white donkey, and behind him were the holy Avot – Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, with all the tzaddikim from all the generations.
Their faces shone with a very bright light. To the right of the Moshiach was the holy Tanna, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. After them followed all of Am Yisrael, lined up in rows [perhaps according to the order of the tribes]. The Kohen Hagadol came out of the Beis Hamikdash with a bull, on which he placed his hands.
My big brother Raziel Yosef, and also myself, Ma'ayan saw all the tzaddikim that I mention. But all of Am Yisrael with also the rest of our family, only could set eyes on Moshiach and the Kohen Hagadol, because they didn't see the holy Avot and Rashbi.
Suddenly we heard the Rashbi calling us – me and my brother – without a sound. We approached Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, may he rest in peace, and I started to say Tikkun 43 first. And after that I said the entire Holy Zohar by heart. And after I was finished my brother approached Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and also said the whole Tikkun 43, with afterwards the entire Holy Zohar by heart. And we saw all the tzaddikim clapping their hands.
That is where Ma'ayan ended her story, with the whole family listening in astonishment.
"And he will see, there is no man to help me – nobody wants to help me, to save me, to bring about the Final Redemption."
What! Does Ha'Kadosh Baruch Hu not have even one rabbi in the whole world that is willing to urge all Israel—men, women, youth, infants—"Come and learn Zohar Kadosh for one minute every day."
(Yes indeed! About faith, about trust in Hashem, etc. etc. they are able to speak. But they do not themselves believe the words of the Zohar Kadosh. The rabbis that have been described here are the Jews known as the "Erev Rav" in the Zohar Kadosh.)
What is the source of learning Zohar Kadosh for one minute a day? Rebbe Shimon bar Yochai charged Rabbi Yochanan Banun that all Israel should learn Zohar Kadosh for one, two or three minutes a day.
"What! You mean to say that not one of all the rabbis of the Erev Rav would be willing to donate just one minute to Ha'Kadosh Baruch Hu?"
"Yes, that is the true reality! For this dire situation of the last generation before Moshiach is exactly what provoked Moses our Teacher (peace be upon him) to cry out to Elijah the Prophet (peace be upon him).
How much more blood of our Jewish brothers and sisters of Israel needs to be spilt, G-d forbid ? — until the day when all realize that WITHOUT ONE MINUTE OF LEARNING ZOHAR KADOSH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REDEEM ALL ISRAEL!!!
From here we are enabled to derive a conclusion to the question, "Who was it really that caused the murder of the five holy martyrs in the Beit Knesset in Har Nof, Jerusalem?"
The Zohar Kadosh in Tikun 43 and Tikun 30 reveals that the emissaries of the Arabs were none other than rabbis!!! These rabbis were the real murderers. Not the Arabs—The Serpent is not the actual manslayer, but the sin itself.
And he will see, there is no man to help me – nobody wants to help me, to save me, to bring about the Final Redemption
Eliyahu said [to the Faithful Shepherd], Faithful Shepherd, it is the hour to ascend [and to bring about the Final Redemption], with an oath [that is to say, swear to me that you will hasten the Redemption], and you must say [about me]: for it is because of you that I wish to ascend. And the Holy One, blessed be He gave me permission to reveal myself to you in your personal gaol, in your grave, to do well by you, for you are pained by the transgressions of the nation [that it comes between them like in a jail]. As it is written (Yeshayahu 53): "He was pained because of our transgressions."
He said Faithful Shepherd, in an oath in Hashem's name, do your best not to delay [the Redemption], for I am [here] extremely upset.[For it is written about me] (Shemot 2). And he turned here and there and saw there was no man. Help me, release me from this pain, in this grave, as it is said of me (Yeshayahu 53) "and he gave his grave to the wicked", and this is not known about me, and I am important in their eyes, among the wicked Erev Rav, as a putrid dead dog among them, as the wisdom of the Torah scholars will decay among them in every city, and in every place where Israel is scattered among them, among the kings. And the Erev Rav returned to guide Yisrael, the Holy One blessed be He's flock, as is said of them (Yechezkel 34) "My flocks, the flocks of My pasture, you are man", and they have no ability to be supportive of Torah scholars.
And those very Erev Rav abound with serenity and happiness, with no sorrow, and no grief at all – they are swindlers, and engage in bribery, even as they sit as judges, and leaders of the People. (Bereishit 6) "For the earth has become full of robbery because of them." Of them it is said (Eicha 1): "Her adversaries have become the head." [The Faithful Servant said to Eliyahu] I ask you a second time to give me your word, in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, Who dwells between the cherubim, that all of these things will not be uttered by your mouth, that you will make every effort not to speak of them before the Holy One, blessed be He, or expose their duress. [end quote of the Faithful Servant].

Holy Zohar, Parshat Naso, 126b
After hearing this story, my older daughter also expressed an interest in learning P'tach Eliyahu. It is impossible to describe how we felt, how inspired we all were, how we felt so close and desired so much to merit "to see the pleasantness of the Lord and to visit His sanctuary every morning". We had heard firsthand how it was possible to merit seeing – by learning Zohar – great and hidden words, and thereby we could merit the hastening of the Redemption, and to get closer to our beloved Father.
And in fact, on Motzei Shabbat, the Admor gave 101 shekels to each of my two children who had learned by heart Tikkun 43…
And we shall conclude with a prayer that speedily in our days the verse "When the Lord returns the returnees to Zion, we shall be like dreamers…" And we will merit the full Redemption and the arrival of the Moshiach soon, in the merit of Rashbi and of learning the Zohar. "Let our eyes behold Your loving return to Zion…" speedily in our days, amen.
